I've decided to man up and build my own pc as opposed to buying a Dell, and this is my first stab at it, so let me know if there are any glaring issues, or if there is room to improve.

This pc will be used to play WoW mostly, and CS:S, neither of which are very demanding, so i dont need anything amazing.

My budget's around 500-650
Cheaper = better

Athlon II X4 640 + MSI 870A-G54:

$182

G. Skill 4GB DDR3 1600:

$60

Cooler Master 700W ATX:

$50 after mail-in rebate

Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB:

$125 after mail-in rebate

Samsung F3 1TB:

$70

Antec Three Hundred:

Could I get an acceptable PSU for less?

:/
Seasonics are like $10 shipping so that even brings their 400w units to within $10 of the 650W corsair.
Corsair 550W has $6 shipping bringing it within $4.

This has decent reviews, and the hecs with lots of reviews don't seem to be awful, but I've never used a hec.

We have the Antec Earthwatts 430w

Above that I'd go for the Corsair 650W.

hec == Scary IMHO.

I'd probably stick with the Earthwatts for efficiency reasons, though the Corsair is good as well.

Furthermore, you don't need to spend the extra for DDR3 1600. I'd save the $12 (maybe put it towards the GTX 460?) and get some DDR 1333.

I vote 460 and earthwatts psu, though a 5770 can do what you want just fine. I just put together a friends build similar to that but with a 5850 for about 600 bucks.

Yeah I'm gonna go with the 460 and the earthwatts, I'd rather not spend $90 on the PSU.

So -the 5770 +the 460
and
-the cooler master +the earthwatts

Build's good?

One gotcha is that the Eartwatts series don't come with a power cord. You'll need to buy one if you don't have some laying around.
