I'd stay away from the MSI motherboard, they just have to many QC issues, I'd go w/ the Asus K8N-E Deluxe board, costs around the same and has far less issues but similar performance and features. you also might want to go w/ a bigger hard drive or more than one since you are going to be editing video, space disapears fast and a 250GB drive isn't that much more than a 160, also you might want to go w/ a normal PATA drive instead of SATA and save yourself some setup hastle. Just my 2 cents... Hope this helps... :)

Well actually I've read about quite a few QC issues with the asus with the nforce3 chipset? I think 160gb is ok for now, and hey I can always add one when that runs out. I don't mind the setup with the sata's. Anyone else have any opinion on the MB?

Thanks for the help

What kind of video editing? Are you buying a special video editing card, or are we talking short home movies, or what?

i agree what crimson is getting to. if you are just editing home movies, that's fine, but if you are going hardcore, you will need a video editing card or some external converters and etc.

My little brother just purchased the Asus board, as long as you have the 1004 bios or later your golden, even w/ the stock bios it was fine, just hit a wall over clocking at 220mhz untill later bioses, it's an amazing board, check out the thread in motherboards.
