I recently rebuilt my old AthlonXP1800/Asus A7V266-E combo into a new case to sell it. Wanting to keep costs down(so I could spend all the $$$$'s on my new sys), I found a nice budget case at the world's best online 'puter parts store, NewEgg. It's a nice black case with great ventilation(spaces for 3-80mm fans, only one included). It's the EVERCASE E4252B005 and it's only $24 + shipping. They actually had one in the refurb section for $15 and $8 shipping last week.

BTW...I sent NewEgg a thank you/ya did a great job on my order email after getting this case, and I got back a box of freebies including a Plextor t-shirt, coffee mug, pens and case badges.
So if yer on a budget(aren't we all?), get this case!!!

It looks like a pretty decent case and the money's right. I'm considering getting one for my next modding project. Do you think there's enough room in the front to cut a hole for a 120mm fan? How about cutting it so one could put 2 80mm fans in there?

PC911mickster, I've got a 4252 case as well and agree that it's an excellent case at a good price. I too also think that you could fit a 120mm fan in the front, but two 80mm's will not fit.

Really? All that is needed is roughly 6.3" wide of space in the front. Then I could cut it up with my dremel and, whala, 2 80mm fans!:)

120mm will fit. I drilled the holes myself. You may want to cut the metal away in front of the fan to allow for more airflow. Be careful not to block the slots where the front plastic piece snaps into place.

Anyone know if a 92mm fan will fit in the back?

built 2 systems with the evercase. good case at an excellent price. front fan blowing over the hd is comforting. Also note that friend just built a system using a new Intel board w/ integreated audio and vertical audio I/O connections instead of the more standard horizontal ones. This was one of the relative few cases on Intel's tested list. He tried to use the Palo Alto convertible case (like the older Dell and Microns) but the mb connnections were too tall for the case opening. This case worked fine.
