Budget Business Build Advice

I'm helping a church upgrade their aging (6+ yrs old) computers to more modern ones. Their budget is quite tight, but their needs are minimal. I don't have preference for AMD or Intel. I'm also considering hitting up Dell, but it's difficult to find extremely good deal with 3 year warranty. Since the church has site license for Windows XP Pro, the OS cost is negligible.

Common software:

IE & Firefox
MS Office Suite
proprietary church database

The things I'm looking for:

- 3 yrs of parts replacement warranty.
- enough processing power to last 4-5 years.
- good cooling design
- minimal HDD space, since I'm encouraging users to save files to server
- no real need for burners

I have made a few example through Newegg.

For $300,
- Conroe-L, 1GB RAM, 80GB, DVD-ROM, Intel 945GC board
- X2 3600+, same as above w/ Biostar VIA 800 board
For $400,
- E2140, 2GB RAM, 80GB, DVD-Burner, Intel 945GC board
- X2 5000+, same as above w/ Foxconn 690G board

Both setup is housed in a mATX Foxconn case with 90mm exhaust and 300 watt FSP PSU.
I'm looking at AMD equivalent, but it seems to be impossible to find an AM2 board that have more than 1 year of warranty. If AT can give me some opinions and suggestions, that would help me out very much. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest hitting up the Dell Outlet, I'm sure if you contacted a sales rep they could work something out for you.

If you can't find something there, I would look for a company that regularly updates their hardware, its a charitable contribute and a tax deduction if they donate their older hardware to your church.

I've thought about Dell, but since the initial order is ~ $2000-2500 (much more later next year), I doubt Dell will offer much in terms of bulk deal. Also, most of their coupon deals only have 1year warranty, and 3rd year costs significantly extra.

As for donation stuff, it's not going to be powerful enough for the longevity requirement. Also, I want to get parts that can be replaced easily and have parts warranty.

You can get the following for $449 plus tax:
HP Pavilion a6100y
Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit
Celeron 420 Conroe-L
512MB RAM
80GB hard disk
CDRW/DVDROM combo drive
3-year house call warranty
