I'm on a slight budget build. I mainly play on the ps3 but I've been wanting to get into pc gaming lately [I've played pc before but stopped once my computer crashed].
I wouldn't be a hardcore pc gamer so I wasnt gonna try to buy the most heavy duty and expensive stuff, I mainly use my computer for my home schooling, multi tasking, and sometimes video editing from here to there if my friends ask me to help them out with one of their school projects.
I didn't wanna get the most low grade stuff, of course. I wanna get my moneys worth. I managed to throw all this together and was wondering what peoples take on it was. Also if everything was compatible to work together.

Thanks! :D

So... you're planning to overclock "http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129066" to 3.0-3.6 GHz huh? Usually people list the cpu first, so I'm assuming that's the cpu.

I'll also assume "http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136599" is a HDD.

Not a very good build IMHO. Here's a few suggestions:
- Sandy Bridge makes the Phenom II obsolete. Swap the CPU for an i5 2300, the mobo for a MSI H67MA-E35, and drop the Hyper 212+. Sure, you won't be able to overclock, but a Sandy Bridge at 3.1GHz w/ turbo boost is quite a lot faster than a Phenom II at 3.4.
- The PSU is way overkill for what you need. A 500CX is plenty.
- The AV-GP drive is a bad choice for a system drive. For the same price you can get the excellent Samsung F3 1TB.
- The GTX 465 is an all around poor card. Why get a hot, loud, super cut down GF100 when the GTX 460 1GB performs and costs the same?
