Its time to upgrade the wife's computer. Email & web surfing is about all she uses her computer for.

I have not read anything about the PC CHIPS A11G V1.0 Socket AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Micro ATX AMD motherboard. The price is attractive if it is a good product. Is it a solid work station mobo or a piece of junk?

PC-Chips mainboards are completely free of bells and whistles. No nonsense and ridiculously high volume manufacturing make for the low price.

Oh, and their end user support is next to nonexistant - their main business is volume OEMs who know what they're doing. So if you can make sense of a manual that has all the facts but zero explanations, you're in. If you need your hand held during the build, seek elsewhere.

Thanks for the tips!
