Hello everyone of this respected community I have a question to ask, my current computer is complete crap and in desperate need of a new one. i just want a low budget computer (as low as what I am looking for can allow me) that can play WOW(world of warcraft) and LOL(league of legends) at medium to high settings. If any one would be so kind as to help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

P.S thanks for your wisdom in-advance

There's a sticky on what to ask when looking for build advice.

I'm thinking this is doable for 600$ without a monitor/windows.

If you're a college student with a .edu e-mail address, you can save a bunch by getting Windows 7 Professional for $30.

If you live near a Fry's B&M, and you have enough building experience to determine which parts will work for you, they have serious component sales almost every day. If not, check fry's.com. Their new ad cycle starts on Fridays. Also, check newegg.com, and sign up for their e-mail specials. Those would be my best recommendations for good prices on selected components. Beyond that, check the Hot Deals forum and other deals forums for the parts you need.

Hope that helps. :)

Spend about $600.

$100 for a mobo
$100 for a processor (likely an Athlon II X4 at your budget)
$200 for a graphics card
$75 for a hard drive
$70 for a good PSU
$50 for a case

$605 total

You forgot RAM! I would say that for WoW and LoL, you could go cheaper on the GPU.

Athlon II X4 635 + ASUS M4A77TD combo $147 AR
G.Skill DDR3 1333 4GB $82
5770 $130 AR
Samsung F3 500 GB $55
DVD Burner $20
Silverstone 400W + Case combo $79
Total w/o OS: $513 AR
Add $100 for Win 7 HP 64-bit if you need it.

Microcenter has "free" mobo w\ AMD cpu purchase, so you can grab an athlon II 630 for around $99 and also have a mobo.

Could also fish around in the For Sale/ Trade threads :)

Yeah, what about monitor (= gaming resolution) & OS?

I guess that's why there's a sticky.
