budge system's 3dmark03 score.. im impressed.

i just finished building a budget machine for my brother in law. it consist of this:

A64 2800+ Clawhammer (1.8ghz stock OC'ed at 220fsb, 2.0ghz)
GeForce 6600GT 128mb
3x256mb of ddr 2700
Foxconn NF4K Motherboard
Generic case that has a 400w psu
Samsung 40gb 7200rpm hard drive

with the cpu at 2.0ghz, he scored a friggin 7716.

i think thats damn good considering his system.
im stoked for him. 🙂

btw, this is with everything at default video and 3dmark wise.

didnt change any video settings or the 3dmark03 settings. just opened it and ran the benchmark.

3DMark03/05 are almost entirely dependent on the video card in your system (assuming you don't have some stupidly slow CPU like a P3 1Ghz). If it has a P4/AXP/A64 and a 6600GT in it, it'll probably score 7500 or so on 3DMark03. 😛
