Buddy List Order

for example, I just added Anandtech Moderator to my buddy list. It would be nice to have him/her at or near the top of my list. Anyway to do this?

Delete your entire buddy list. The re-enter them in the order that you want them in from top to bottom.

Unfortunately, the only way to edit the order of your buddylist is to add names in the order you want them to appear. You'll have to dump the list and re-enter them all in the order you want.
