Hey Aj_UF hows the weather down there:D want to trade i'm buried under a foot of snow. Speaking of Dungy did he finally hire a real offensive coordinator yet? heres a suggestion how about norv turner guy stunk as a head coach but did pretty well coaching that dallas offense, yeah its recycling of the same guys but he'd have a big line , running game and big time wide receiver ala irvin throw in brad johnson whose just as injury prone as aikman was and things start to look bright.

Brad Johnson is not a bad quarterback, a helluva lot more accurate than Shaun King. The offense was the only thing that kept TB out of the superbowl. I mean how can you have two very good running backs, a very good receiver, two pro-bowlers on the offensive line and have such a sorry ass offense? Shaun King, that is how. HE SUCKS.

Ryan Leaf is a developmental project. If he can play, Tampa Bay will be smart. If he cannot, they lose NOTHING. Seems like a good move to me.

ryan leaf is a head case BUST but theyve got nothing to lose. Did you watch any of the crappy play calling coming out of dungy please. dumping it all on king, whom i also think is a second stringer, is like dumping it all on dilfers lap . Dungy played not to lose on offense and it came back and bit him, the guy needs to back off and let johnson wing it. I'll bet you he won't and tampa fans will be here next year compalining about johnson the same way they compalined about williams, testaverde, young, dilfer, king and soon to be johnson. eventually you have to take off the blinders and see the play calling is what s^&ks. You arent going to win too many games running on 3rd and 8.

I think the bucs ran on third and 8 because King sucked, not because of the play calling. King may turn out to be a good QB, but he is average at BEST now.

I think this will be Dungheaps last year if the Bucs don't at least play in the SB. The Outback SH boys want some glory real bad. Frankly, I'm surprised that Dungheaps still there.

Any idiot coach should know that you can't win the big one with a kid QB that can't read defenses and change plays at the line. Hll, he was still reading plays off his sleeve in game 10. I think that's about the time the offensive coach cut the playbook in half ("offense too sophisticated too soon", lol).

On top of that the coaches tell SK not to take any risks? Heh, heh, tuck and eat is suck -- hurts too. WTF?

Skip King for a second and notice dungys pattern, he plays not to lose the guy fears the idea of winging it and ripping the opponents heart out. If Tampa runs on third and 8 with brad then theres only one person to blame.

Yeah he is a conservative coach. But the Ravens won with defense. Tampa Bay has a very good defense in its own right, they do not need to win 42-35 every game. If BJ just doesn't make a lot of mistakes, is accurate as he has been, and throws the occasional deep ball to keep teams honest, TB should be one of the favorites for the big dance.

For being a defensive team, Tampa's future always hinged on their offense. As in, if they have an offensive, they may make it all the way.

The Johnson & Johnson thing is potentially the biggest thing to hit the TB offense ever. There could be magic in the making there.

One thing is for sure, they now have leadership and experience again on the offensive side of the ball. That alone was worth bumping SK to position 2.

All in all, it will be an interesting year. Tampa always preferred to bring in some young guys and grow with them, now they are actually hiring top of the line talent.

Well, I for one hope it works out for them. The bucs are a rag to riches story. I think everybody would root for them in the big game (cept of course the opposite teams city). I don't think there has ever been a better group of guys, on an personal level, that has ever played (minus keyshawn).

Is he going to back up Shaun King? I heard they were thinking about acquiring Ryan Leaf but I guess they decided they wanted to win next season. :D

They did claim Cryin' Ryan off of waivers.

Brad is a real good QB, and he can take a team to the Super Bowl. I'm not saying he's the answer to all of the Bucs problems... But it's a real good start, since King definitely isn't going to take them all the way.
