Has anyone ended up with this program bubef.exe. I have deleted it from the registry, and the system 32 folder but it still keeps coming back. Can someone help with how to get rid of it

What do you have for

1) Version of Windows, including the Service Pack level

2) antivirus program (be exact about the version as well as the brand, and how recently was it updated)

3) firewall software

4) firewall hardware

5) do other computers share your Internet connection, wired or wireless

6) have you tried an antivirus scan yet, and if so, what did it detect (names help here)

7) ditto for anti-spyware programs like Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Personal, Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta, and Spybot Search & Destroy, did you run scans and what (if anything) did they find

8) do you have risk factors such as P2P, warez (illegit software), or s0me 0ther f0rm of risky stuff g0ing 0n?

9) who uses this computer besides you?

I can find no mention of it anywhere on the internet.
do me a favor and look in the registry go to start menu choose run
enter regedit and hit ok
go to this location

Hkey_local_ machine/software/microsoft/windows/current version

and check inside of all folders named run or run once for your bubef

also while your there collapse the tree so you can search the whole registry
go to the edit menu select find and type in your bubef and see if its in your registry anywhere.
hitting f3 will continue to search after every instance or find.

don't change anything just look.
I see you deleted it from registry before where from?
how did you become aware of it?
what behaviour does it have besides reinstalling itself?

ok back out of registry now go to start/run and type in msconfig
choose startup tab
look around there for bubef.

try and find some clues about what this .exe is associated with.
Don't know that I have any answers for you just trying to get more info that could help.
