In reality, if they send him to prison for any amount of time and stick him in general population, it's a death sentence. A more painful death.

And of any possible legal outcome of this trial, the worst possible result from his standpoint is for him to be sent into the general prison population. Johnny Gangbanger may be in jail for shooting half a dozen people while high on meth, but he'll be morally outraged (oddly enough) by Dennis Rader, and he'll show him exactly how morally outraged he is by sticking his c*ck up Rader's @ss, after donning a 20 grit sandpaper condom. The CO's arent going to rush to respond to Rader's screaming, either... and, actually, I bet the CO's would be the one's supplying the sandpaper.

You should live here in Wichita...the coverage has been almost non-stop since he first resurfaced. My wife refuses to watch the news anymore because of it. It also doesn't help that we live a mile south of where BTK lived (and just down the block from his church, too).

Obviously I'm glad they finally got him, and I hope he rots in jail.

he wont last very long in prison. Even THEY dont like people who rape and kill 11 year olds

How often do people get killed in prison for that type of crime?

everyone always says that "oh in prison, blah blah blah" You have no clue what will happen. How often do you actually hear about any of these guys getting killed in prison? Ya, that's what I thought.

Jeffery Dahlmer ... get your facts straight before you try to act tough.

Sadism != masochism. Enjoying inflicting pain on others does not mean that you would enjoy having pain inflicted on you. I do not think this guy would enjoy being the catcher in a game of No Lube Prison Sex.

yup thats how porn will curropt people. Its obvious he enjoyed self gratification so much that he became so selfish and deicded to intrigue the wildest of his fantasies. Its a sick thing. Im also glad he isnt getting the death penalty. He deserves to just sit in a room by himself all day for the rest of his life.

I'm sure some other prisoner will happily shank his ass, thus providing the public with a service and saving the state the expense and trouble of executing him.

Porn???

This has nothing to do with porn, if porn was responsible for this type of behavior half the world would be serial killers

Actually, I'm a former Wichitan, but my job takes me there weekly. I lived there while Rader was terrorizing the place, but being a little kid, I had no idea what was going on.

I agree. There's been so much disturbing news lately, it's getting me depressed. I was also very disturbed by the Samatha Runion story and the little girl who was murdered in Florida by another convicted child molester who buried her alive. So much evil happening in the world. So many sickos.

It's very disturbing that there are people out in the world who are sociopaths -- they don't have any empathy for other people -- they view us as prey or projects to do.

Lately???

There is nothing new under the sun.

Yes, I know, but after 9/11 I think I've become more aware of how awful this world is.

Sick and disturbed but incredibly intelligent. The chief investigator said on Dateline that he considers BTK an idiot, a baffoon. Yeah, but they couldn't catch him for 30 years? "He just got lucky" they said. He wanted to get caught. Part of the whole game was taunting them and giving them little clues. It's like when you are joking with friends and let slip that it's someone's birthday and you say "oops!". He sent them all sorts of Sherlock Holmes style clues and they still couldn't get it. Get John Douglas on the case people!

This guy deserves life in prison in Chile or China or something. That way all the stuff he did can be done to him. What a bastard.

porn is a huge factor. Many serial killers have confessed. I think John gacy was one saying that porn really was an influence on their actions. Reframe what porn is to you, and reframe what killing is to a serial killer and there are some underlying similarities
