my pc is:
e4300 with tuniq tower 120 running @ 1.8 (no OC)
P5N-E SLI (650i)
G.Skill 2048MB Dual Channel 800MHz CL4-4-4-12
BFG 8800GTS OC2 320MB
ANTEC Sonata II (450W PSU)

when i play NFS carbon or Test Drive Unlimited i keep geting BSOD's and a reset.
can anyone tell me why?

oh! i forgot!
i'm running Windows XP SP2 Hebrew with all updates installed.
Bios 0401 (or 0402 cant remember)
and all nvidia drivers installed.

First things first:

What do the blue screens say?
Is anything getting logged into Event Viewer?

Have to run MemTest yet?

i can't see the BSOD it falshes for a fraction of a second and resets the computer.
i dont know where is the event viewer and i havent tried memtest.
i will try... 10x
but if its not the memory? i suspect the GPU (the BFG 8800)

To turn of auto restart go to control panel>system>advanced>startup & recovery>settings and UNCHECK the auto restart.

To view the events go to control panel>administrative tools>event viewer and look in the system and/or application folders.

Do you have anyone you know who can read your minidump files? These files contain specific information on what is causing your crashes.

every time its a different error...
one time it was a usb bla bla bla.sys i cant remember the exect name.
i wil write it next time.
but i think it is not a specific file problem.

yes, you can read them yourself. 1) You need to first download MS's Debugging tool. then 2) you need to go to Major Geeks and read how to use the Debuging tool.

OR, you can join TechSpot forums because they have people there that can read your minidumps: C Drive > Windows Folder > Minidump Folder > Minidumps.

i ran memtest the memory is not the issue...
i'll try reformatting and reinstalling all the drivers.
it seems like the usb drivers are making some trouble.
the only things that are connected to the usb are:

wifi dongle
logitech rx1000 mouse
usb internet camera

Interesting. I have a friend that is having the same problem. Some USB BSOD. he has a 680i board with a logitech mouse. (not that logitech is uncommon). I had him uninstall all usb devices and still problems. It ay only be solved by reinstalling xp.
