BSOD's and random file corruption

Something is seriously wrong with my build. It seems like everything in the system is failing at the same time, and it's ridiculously frustrating.

The symptoms are basically bsod's and random file corruption.

Reinstalls on my old WD raptor were unsuccessful--I had a strange random corruption problem where drivers would just out of no where go bad, so I replaced the hd with a hitachi unit I had around. Then I started getting rebooting loops. I tracked that problem down to a faulty IDE cable and dvd burner, which I replaced and took out respectively. Finally I got a memory related blue screen. I took out the faulty stick and it worked for a little while.

Now I'm getting an 0xA error, but I can't figure out what the driver is. Also firefox will crash without starting now. It seems to point to the same random file corruption that happened before I replaced the hard drive.

It's an older system I used before college, but it would still be fine if it could work right:

DFI Lanparty SLI-DR Mobo
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
1 gig Crucial Ballistix pc3200 2-2-2-4(? I think, not really important though) (now only 512)
ATI Radeon x1650xt
Creative Xfi Platinum
3x Hitachi hds (not really sure of the sizes 80-160-160? Maybe?)
550 watt aspire power supply. (Crappy I know, but the antec that was in it before was completely dead when I came home from school)

Honestly I'm this close to shit-canning the whole thing, but I really want a windows rig to use for my home recording studio, and don't have the money to build something else.

No ideas? No one else's rig has gone crazy before? :(

I know it's hard to diagnose without actually being here, but could anything cause everything to just start failing seemingly at random?
