It's been years but I just had a blue screen of death at work. Took two reboots to restart. Prompted me to check on backups and I'm good. My computer can explode and I, at worst case scenario, would lose one days work. Most cases, no loss. Told the sys admin and he ask,"what were you looking at?" I said my PCB design. ... .. . ... and ATOT Mongrel's legs thread aka Mr goodbar thread and the in-before-the-locked girlfriend thread.

A year or two or so ago I got a warning at work to cease all none work related forums. I even had to write a letter asking for account deletion. I shouldn't have said anything to the sys admin. He's cool (to my face) but info gets out anyway.

12:06 Quick Edit:
I've been called to the office ...

1:24 Edit:
Well. I was only asked if I would want in on a lunch order.
1:25 Edit:
Was told to not worry about the BS0D.

BlitzPuppet; not my type of humor. I think the sys admin would be the least of my problems ...

Funny, I just had a co-worker call with a BSOD today, first one I've seen in ages! Intel HD graphics driver crapped out...fixed after a reboot (was flashing the monitors weirdly before it bluescreened).

Not sure what the deal is then, if they are so uptight about work distractions then they should already be implementing a webfiltering service.

Sounds like a fun place where you work :D

OK this is weird, just got a second BSOD. A different machine with Intel HD Graphics. First one was a compact Gigabyte BRIX, second one was a MINIX box. Driver timebomb?
