Hi all,

Well, I am having a BSOD issue with my computer as of now. Its been acting up, only 5 months old since I built it. It happens on 3 of my favorite games, so I know its not a game issue. It has also happened during a video renderring product as well. I may be in the wrong forum section, but I need some help with this. Here is my system specifications and I will put in my minidump file for the tech guys who know what to look for. I have no idea. I also need to see how to paste on here the minidump file as well. Thanks!

I would be targeting your video card DRIVER (upgrade it to the newest version from the manuf site if you only used the CD that came with it to install it, or if you are still on the driver from 5 months ago, there may be a newer one. If you ARE on the newest one, look for an older one you can backdate it to, see if a bug in the newer software might be causing your bluescreen (this is a more rare situation but ive seen it)).

After ruling out the easy stuff, the driver, then youll have to wonder if it is the card itself or even the slot on the board...

Thanks Paperlantern. I have uninstalled the 10.2 driver and ran CCleaner with Driver Cleaner removal tool. It made my screen refresh at default (800X600) then rebooted computer. After that downloaded the 11.2 Catalyst Suite, no BSOD's as of yet.

I have been seeing ATi 57XX series having this same issue even with newest driver on google quite often. It may be the memory (GDDr5) or perhaps the 2.0 Bus slot. Its not the motherboard, I can rest assure, my old GTS250 played hours on end before I went to the 5750 for DX11 and price.

*Edit* On Device Manager, still shows on Display Adapter/Ati 5700/8.821.0.0, but thats a windows driver detail. Catalyst Management shows 11.2 version.

Thanks for the info though!
