Here is the STOP CODE:
STOP: 0x0000008E (0x0000005, 0xBFB00C4D, 0xB0BD69EC, 0x00000000
It does NOT have an ERROR NAME. I've gone through three video cards, 2 sets of 2x512MB of RAM, two OS cds, three HDs, and several installations. What the hell is up here?

Have you had someone look at the dump? Looking at the memory dump generated when a BSOD happens is always a better idea rather than randomly tossing hardware in and out of the machine - it could be that it's simply a bit of software that is causing the BSOD.

Put an e-mail together with the c:\windows\minidump contents, the output from MPSReports, and this URL. Send it to me. Please (carefully) read the full details in my .sig.

I posted a thread a while back talking about the basics of diagnosing random rebooting/bsod's. At the bottom of the thread are a couple links that are useful for finding the culprit. Good luck.

BTW, don't forget to check the PSU or BIOS version, as these can often be problems that survive over different OS installations.
