NTFS.sys was the file...

I was running 3dmark2001 and about 10 tests through it BSOD'd

Is the OS corrupt?

Ah. Driver conflict maybe ... If it's a factory install, could just be the mfr-installed garbage. 😛

hehe i feel ya on that one, but its a clean install. isnt NTFS.sys one of the main system drivers?

MS drivers

Troubleshoot bugchecks is not for the faint of heart. Go to the manufactrer of your Laptop and scour their site for similar occurrences.
