BSOD when installing Vista Ultimate x64?

Booting from the DVD, Vista goes through the loading files screen, then gets to the green marquee-style wait bar. After that, it BSODs.

Vista Ultimate x64
SATA DVD+R DL drive
NO overclock, and no instability when booted into Windows XP (did a 2 hour quick Prime95 blend to test the processor and memory after installing them).

What gives?

It's your mobo. The NVIDIA Intel boards have certain problems with the Vista x64 installer and >2GB of RAM. Yank one of the RAM sticks, install, and then plug it back in.
