Guys,

Give me a helping hand. I am running WinXP, but I am getting BSOD errors constantly. The error is one of the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and file identified is usbohci.sys.

According to MS the correct file version should be 5.1.2600.28, dated 06/02/02, but I have an even newer usbohci.sys file (ver. 5.1.2600.1106, dated 29/08/02).

Does anyone have idears? Any help is appreciated!!!

Did you recently install a USB device that requires an IRQ, like a USB modem or serial adapter? You may need to change around some of the IRQs in your BIOS.

The only I did lately is install a Belkin USB 2.0 card with 5 connections, so I could use my new Canon 8000 scanner. Can that be the culprit?

I am on the Soyo Dragon Plus, with an AMD XP 2200+. The MoBo only has USB 1, and I needed USB 2.
