So i built a comp way back and have had no problems for years. All of a sudden a few months ago, i started getting random intermittent BSODs (mostly stop errors). After running various tests (including memory) and updating drivers, etc i ended up getting a new hard drive and reinstalling. It was fine for a few days but then i started getting the same BSODs. The only thing that seemed to fix the problem was changing the CPU Vcore voltage in the BIOS from "auto" to 1.18125v. I still get an occasional BSOD but it is very rare, maybe once a week. If i set the Vcore back to "auto", i immediately start getting the BSODs again, usually within 30 min to an hour after booting. Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?

Is the cpu heatsink installed correctly? What are the cpu temps? If its abnormally high then something might've worked loose.
