BSOD on Win XP Installation

I trying to install Windows XP on the following system:

DFI NF4 SLI Infinity
AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+
WD 74GB Raptor

But the system BSODs on ntfs.sys and after doing a bit of research, it seems it's due to Nforce4's data corruption for SATA drives. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and how they got past it.

I'm currently getting a BSOD after crashing my machine using Cool n Quiet, also with the ntfs.sys popping up....won't even boot into safe mode.

Not sure how too fix it yet, anyone got any solutions that would work for sure?? If not it's a trip to the PC Clinic for me! I have a feeling it's the boot sector of the HD that's the problem.
