bsod ntfs.sys - while defraggin - please help

my system specs are in my sig - ran memtest with no problem - but when i run defrag on perfectdisk - i keep bsoding - it says i have a file corruption of ntfs.sys - and this only happens if i try to defrag - thx all - anyone have any suggestions?

i usually defrag in safe mode, not sure if it'll help you, worth a shot?

If you have XP, why don't you use it to defrag your hard drive or have you?

i heard perfect disk is better but i will try defragging with xp

bsod using win xp defrag too 🙁
