BSOD, File Corruption, and Display Corruption

Last night my computer crashed while watching a video. It was a pretty dramatic crash that caused the displays to glitch and a loud buzzing noise, similar to what would happen if you bumped a N64 cartridge. The error doesn't show up in BlueScreenView.

Once the machine was back up it gave the error: "CLIStart.exe - Bad Image! C: \Windows\System32\mscml6.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error".

Google suggests this is a Catalyst issue. Since I figured the official catalyst driver I was using doesn't work properly, I downloaded the latest beta driver for my HD7950. Midway through the install my screens went blank then into powersave mode and never came back on. The computer didn't appear to be frozen because I could see the network lights flickering.

After some time I manually restarted the system. While starting Windows ran ChkDsk. I waited for a bit but it seemed like it was taking forever so as far as I know errors were scrolling up the screen all night. This morning it was booted into windows so I ran sfc \scannow and it tells me it is unable to fix some of the corrupt files.

I figured I'd worry about it later, then again while watching a video, I got another bluescreen. This time the error was recorded and is viewable in BlueScreenView.

Here's a screenshot of everything. Notice how there is now a line of corruption that runs across my desktop. That happened the first time it crashed last night where it didn't even record an error. You will also notice 3 BSOD's this month, I haven't had a BSOD all year then all the sudden I'm getting them.

It seems to happen with videos, not games. I was playing 2 instances of Borderlands 2 with my roomate for hours earlier with no issues. I took the left monitor and he took the right. The computer ran one instance native and one in Sandboxie 1920x1200x2 max settings but with some of the extra fancy lighting settings checked off and physics on low at 60fps. No errors there.

It may not be the display driver. I just tried to open my email client and got:

---------------------------
thunderbird.exe - Bad Image
---------------------------
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\mozsqlite3.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

And does anyone know a good way to scan all files for corruption? Not just Windows files?

Update:
◘ I don't use a Security/AntiVirus Suite. I've had worse experiences with them than any virus. I still did the following to check for issues:
• Results of RKill:
* No malware services found to stop.
* No malware processes found to kill.
* No issues found in the Registry.
* Miscellaneous checks, Windows Service Integrity, Missing Digigal Signatures:
* No issues found.

• Results of MalwareBytes:
* Scan completed successfully! No malicious items were detected!

• ComboFix:
* Dear god why did I run this...
* Didn't find/fix anything, but sure messed with a lot of my settings

◘ Attempts with Windows Repair CD
• SFC Scannow also can't do the repairs from the windows restore cd.
• Windows Repair finds nothing wrong
• System Restore appears to be impossible. My latest backup is 10/17/2013 and the earliest restore I'm supposed to be able to restore to is 7/30/2014

◘ Drive Health
• C: Crucial M4 256GB Health Status: ok, Life Remaining 98%
• E: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB Health Status: Attention(C7) Interface CRC Error Count: 7639 (over 25255hrs though)
• F: Mushkin Chronos Deluxe 120GB Health Status: Warning(c4) Retired Block Count: 3, Life Remaining 100%
• Z: Samsung Spinpoint T 500GB Health Status: Attention(C7) Interface CRC Error Count: 10 (over 53311hrs) 8yr old drive for redundency

Here is all the corrupted files found by SFC by the way, I used the command:
findstr /c:"[SR] C" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\corruption.txt"

Your hard drive is dying. And here is the part that tells me that:
After some time I manually restarted the system. While starting Windows ran ChkDsk. I waited for a bit but it seemed like it was taking forever so as far as I know errors were scrolling up the screen all night....

and if that wasn't enough:
...I ran sfc \scannow and it tells me it is unable to fix some of the corrupt files.

A bad spot on a hard drive can affect one spot and not others. Make sure everything is backed up, and get a new drive.

It's an SSD and it's not the culprit. All the corruption appears to have occurred from that one event.

In order to hopefully prevent something like this from happening again I've set the Remove policy of all drives to "Quick Removal" which turns off Write Caching to all drives.

I've done an upgrade install to hopefully repair it. Once booted up it said that .net framework 4.5 was corrupted pretty badly and needed to be reinstalled. AMD Catalyst relies heavily on the 4.5 framework. It's something with those drivers I think.

After the upgrade repair install sfc /scannow does not find any integrity violations. All subsequent chkdsk's have not found any issues since the first run immediately after the "corruption event"

Complete system specs, including power supply brand / model / rated wattage / amperage on +12V rail(s)?

Your PSU may be failing, and may have damaged your video card or SSD.
