BSoD, bad mobo or something else?

Hi,

I started having troubles with my pc about 6 months ago. Now, I get a BSoD "sometimes" when I do either of these actions:

1. Unplug my microphone/headphone jack from the rear ports.
2. Alt-tab from a full screen app i.e LoL, CS:GO.

I ran memory stress tests over 12 hours without any problems.
I formated the pc and it didn't solve the issue.
I have reset my cpu clock to default. Didn't change anything either (I did not overclock anything else).
My cpu temps are below 35 degrees.

I really don't know what's going on besides the motherboard being really bad.

What do you guys think?

This is my build:

Windows 7 Ultimate
Phenom 2 x4 955
HD 5850 (x2 CF)
MSI 870-G45
4GB Patriot Viper Extreme 1866mhz
XFX 750w psu

Can you be more specific about the BSOD? What is the message, and is there a file it is referring to?

I don't know what it says. Next time it happens I'll try to take a screenshot (is it even possible anyway?). otherwise I might have to try to reproduce the issue several times. It doesn't happen everyday, only sometimes. But the days it happens it happens almost everytime when I alt-tab.

The best way to share a bsod is to take a picture and upload it, or make sure Windows doesn't do an auto reboot on blue screens and write it down. Some Google-searching of that code should give you some idea of what the problem is.

  1. Right-Click on "My Computer", and click "Properties" from the context menu that appears.
  2. Click on the "Advanced" tab.
  3. Click on "Settings" under "Startup and Recovery" (see screenshot).
  4. Uncheck the box labeled "Automatic Restart".you could also download whocrached
