BSOD After Reinstall of Vista 64

My system was great uintil 2 weeks ago when windows update stopped my system recovery and caused an issue with standby.

I decided to do a reinstall of windows ( I do one every 12 months).

I used my legit copy ultimate , I noticed it seem to take longer to install this time, like there was hardly any noise from the HD.

I got to windows and everything was slow and jerky, when I try to install a driver or anything it BSOD's, web browsing after a while BSOD's.
The BSOD is only 1.2 seconds, I can see it taking a memory dump (system exception).

Here's what I've done since;

Gone back to stock speeds

Tested Memory (no errors)

Tried other memory (same issue, even did an install with 2GB)

Installed vista 32 ( WORKS FINE !)

New bios

Same issue !!!

My PC is under warrenty however It's not going to get fixed by them (it's a grey area).

Any ideas????

This is definitely some driver issue, also random errors occur when processor is malfunctioning due to insufficient voltage, cooling etc- this cannot be fixed sometimes even if you revert back to stock settings. However, do tell me what the dump file says.

I went into the bios and enabled " Memory remap"

I did a clean install of Business 64 and it works like a dream, I think I'l stick with it !
