Hi everybody,
This is the first time I've had this problem and it's driving me insane. I have a Giada Cube (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16856176001) N3 that I use as an HTPC box. Its run Ubuntu 10.10 for a while, but Ubuntu 11.04 has caused nothing but headaches, so I'm trying to put windows 7 x64 on it (the atom 330 is 64 bit according to intel's site).
Basically, I get into the windows 7 setup. All the files expand fine, and the setup goes for the initial restart. After that, the windows 7 loading screen comes up, and I get a BSOD stating "Session5_Initialization_Failed", STOP: 0x00000071.
This is driving me up the wall, and I think it has something to do with the Kingston 30 gig SSD in the box. I've tried formatting and installing windows on this drive using 3 computers and all do the same thing. I know my Win 7 disc is good b/c I've used it to install windows on several computers that work fine. I've also tried disabling ACHI support in the bios because I've heard that can cause issues.
Could something have gotten messed up in the transition from linux to windows? I've just been using the Win 7 formatting options to delete all the partitions, create a new one, and format it, then install.
Any input is appreciated. Thank you!!
