I'm sitting here listening to the young woman down the hall tell a group of guys that her gt86 is the best autocross vehicle ever, and it's no good on the street because the tires are set up for autocross. someone else mentions toe and camber and she says "but its for autocross blah blah blah autocross my car is the bestest ever etc..." and she thinks something is wrong with it because everyone else drives around her.... it's yellow and has a wing, that makes it fast right?


i just could not go without giving you something to laugh at.

not sexist. i laugh at the guy down the hall that brags about his corolla too.

We'll she is right, it is a good car for autocross. Not sure what she means about the tires, they're horrible for autocross, haven't seen any brz run the stock tires in autocross locally.

Tell her she might have made the typical rookie mistake of not greasing her muffler bearings. Once that's done, all those performance mods on her car will really start to take effect.

most people ive seen that autocross their cars have the alignment set up to work better on track, but ends up not working so well on regular street driving. same for the drifters, their cars handle like shit on regular street. ive never set up a car for autocross, so i dont know the details on how they prefer their set ups.

and unless she has done a turbo build her car is kind of slow, barely more power and capability than a stock NA impreza. lots of potential in that car tho.

Yeah, and don't these cars run undersized wheels for funsies? I would think if you were serious for autocross you'd get some wider wheels. Although I guess that would mess up your class.

Exactly. But you can certainly get stickier rubber in the stock size which would help a lot
