Bryan Adams Rocks

Hardly. Bryan Adams is 10X better than John Cougar Muttonchop any day. John Cougar was much better when he was just John Cougar.

Negative. I don't love JCM but he is roughly 100 times more talented than lame-ass Bryan Adams.

No taste.

This from the guy who says "Brian Adams Rocks".

Hee hee - that's the thing. Even if I liked Bryan Adams (and I don't), I'd find it hard to say that he rocks. I like Astrud Gilberto, but she doesn't rock.

No man responsible for "Have You Ever Really, Really Really Ever Loved a Woman" can be accused of rocking in any serious way.

Brings back memories of pre "Yo MTV Raps" when they actually played music videos.

Actually I think it was primarily The Real World (MTV's first really successful non-music show) that stopped them playing music videos. Even Yo MTV Raps showed videos.

Yes but I liked it when they showed music videos.

IMO some of the best music of the Yo MTV Raps era WAS rap. There really aren't many late-80s albums as good as "It Takes a Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back," or "Straight Outta Compton." Most popular music in that era was overproduced pap like Janet Jackson, or awful hair bands like Poison. At least, say, Public Enemy, had artistic integrity.

No truer words have been voiced at this forum..

Except, of course, "Brian Adams Rocks".

Edited because those albums are so money that they deserve to be in bold.
