I have an opinion. Comments are welcome.

I don't mind hearing a joke now and then, but it seems every time I turn around I see like 3 or 4 of these jokes, and Brutuskend has a custom title of court jester.

if anyone else started doing this, their asses would have been banned long ago. What gives? I go to off topic for conversation, not cut and paste jokes.
 
I dont really mind it, but if someone is going to post 4-5 jokes at a time, why not put them in one topic

So far, from what I gather. It is PURE speculation, and I may be wrong. He is a nice guy, and has never done anything to me, nor am I angry with/about him, it just strikes me odd.

Everyone's going to think of me as a d!!ck for posting it here, but I just wanted to know. (I feel like I'm talking behind his back) If I posted it on OT, i would have had 90,000 responses with three of them having any relavance at all and the rest saying how much of a weiner I am for even challenging that.

I dunno. I know of a few people that IMHO deserve titles or elite and I see stuff like this & I shake my head.
 
I think Brutuskend deserve's his title. Some jokes may not be original, but I like the laughs they provide. Also, I have never seen Brutuskend me mean or spiteful to anyone. He is one of the nicest members I have had the pleasure of talking to on AT.
 
Brutuskend has found his niche. I think all is well. He does label his posts, so that a person knows in advance what it is they are getting into when they click on his topics. In other words, no one is getting hog-tied by a Priest, a Rabbi, and a Cowboy and forced to read the jokes.
 
Well if the condenses is that I should limit the jokes I post to one or two a day, I will gladly comply.

I will admit that I DO get a bit carried away from time to time.
 
I don't see what the fuss is about. There are members who have become known for posting threads on particular topics of interest. I don't always read Brutuskind's jokes, but if I need a laugh(not too often recently when Bush likes to talk daily 😉 ) I know that his threads will provide that.

You could always make one or two new threads a day and bump it/them to add new jokes (but add them as an edit to the first post so people don't have to wade through replies to find the new ones). 🙂

Two a day, or if I DO feel the uncontrollable urge to post more, I will edit previous posts.

BTW: Thanks to whomever gave me the title. I didn't ASK for it, but I DO of course appreciate it!

I would whole heartily agree with that. I have teased him about the jokes and he never once took the bait. 🙂

You can make a joke thread for each day, and add a joke to it every few hours, or just space them out throughout the day so the new jokes bump the old one up and you get to post all your jokes. 🙂 Just an idea!
 
He labels them.... they dont get excessively bumped....


I for one like them. I have 100 threads per page so its not a big deal

They are getting kind of annoying. And when the hell did oldsmoboat become elite? Did I miss another big "join this thread to become elite" roundup again? Dang.
 
I don't read many threads in Off Topic as neffing really seems to annoy me as of late, but I always read Brutuskend's joke threads as they usually make me smile, unlike so many of the other Off Topic threads. (Seeing peoples reactions to spider threads is pretty funny too.......🙂 )

So I say, leave Brutuskend alone...........
 
I actually look forward to his jokes. He titles the threads appropriately so you don't have to click on them. Keep em coming!
