Been up there a few times during the summer & it can get really cold even then ... snow has been reported in the middle of August!

Used to ski at a place called Wildcat across the valley from Tuckermans Ravine on the north side of Mt Washington & it got seriously cold there too!

Mount Washington in New Hampshire, battered by extreme cold, snow, fog and fierce winds, has earned the label: the place with the worst weather in the world.

The idiot who wrote that needs to learn more about world weather.

Current Conditions: 8:45 AM, Fri.
Temperature 1.0°F
Wind 81.9 mph
Direction 288° (W)
Gust 94.4 mph
Wind Chill -35.1°F

Now that's a stiff breeze. ;)

"The wind can also toss large objects around, such as ice chunks. A piece of ice weighing 80 pounds could cause serious, possibly fatal, injury."

Oh come on, what kind of puny man can't handle a 80lb piece of ice coming at them in 100+ MPH winds? :Q ;)
