browsing web -> cant find page -> pops up with my old dialup connections wanting to connect !

hi,

i just got a linksys wireless router wrt54g, i have my PC and the laptop online and everything is (basically fine). Desktop is wired to router, laptop via wireless.

The problem is...everytime i surf the net on my desktop and the browser cant find an address i all of a sudden get a pop-up requester "Network connections" wanting me to CONENCT with my old dial-up network entries i have (but which are diabled). ("chose a connection")

I didnt have that issue a few hours ago and maybe i screwed something up with the settings.


I mean..i am online, everythigns fine. Except if theres's a small delay (eg outdated link, adress wrong) it comes uo and assumes i am offline, wanting to connect.

Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Never Dial A Connection
