Im currently haveing a problem with a machine that is having trouble browsing both the interenet and network. I have tied re-installing the modem and network drivers, un-installed and re-installed the client for microsoft networks, and still nothing. I used to beable uninstall and reinstall tcp/ip and dial-up networking for windows98/Me and most of the time it worked but i cant in windows xp. I even tried netsh int ip /reset and still nothing. . I was wondering if there are any other tricks that i can try to fix it.

Tim

EDIT ==== I should have mention that this is Windows XP Home 🙂

Try going into your control panel .. Go to the Add & Remove click on the left where it says add remove windows components click on network services then click detail there should be an option for simple tcp/ip services.
