Am I missing something or does Steam really needs to rethink the way you browse for games?

So I browse a genre looking for something I might like. Say it's on page 5 of the list. I click the game I want to view and then decided I don't want it or want to look at more games. I click back and I'm back on page 1 and have to click through to page 5 again to get back to where I was.

Browsing via a web browser instead of the steam client I find is easier. At lease you can choose "open in window" were as the steam client has that disabled.

This is what I do when do browsing like this. It is silly that it doesn't remember where you are in the client while browsing.

I avoid using the Steam client to browse any web pages whenever possible, it sucks for that.

unless i'm mistaken, the steam client is a doctored internet exploder. i like the steam service, but the client is still poop. the last update brought it almost into the 21st century.
