Hello everyone, I wasn't completely sure where to post this but it seems relevant in here.
I posted a few weeks ago in another section that I kept getting 0x0...8e BSoD's out of the blue (gettit?
). I fixed this eventually by finding it was to do with an old nVidia NAM driver. I updated to 6.86 and my problem was solved.
However, I now seem to have a new problem in that my browsers aren't displaying pages correctly. They usually make the page look something like
this or this/saying 'done' when I know that only half the page has loaded etc. Also, pictures sometimes look like this or fail to load etc. again.
This started happening after installing the 6.86 nv drivers, the only other change I made around the time this started was swapping my AVG free for Kaspersky Pro. Have upgraded to firefox 1.5.0.7 which hasn't changed anything (I use IE7 occasionaly which also gets these problems). Only getting problems with browsers; irc, games etc run fine.
I'm probably going to reformat in the very near future but I'd like to know how to fix this if it happens again when I'm updating drivers.
Running XP home with SP2, athlon64 3200+, 512MB RAM, abit KN8-Ultra, Sapphire X800GTO² (R420 core) with catalyst 6.8. If you need more info to help me, please just post it.
