What does everyone like other than Firefox? Chrome, Opra, what else is there?

I like firefox, and I've used it for years, but for reasons that escape me it no longer works properly on my computer. I can generally play about half a game of solitaire while it starts up.

You probably have a corrupted profile or an incompatible add-in.

I've been using Firefox for years. I have a couple of niggles with it, and I've tried IE9/Opera 11.x/Chrome but I keep coming back to FF.

I think browser choice is largely down to UI preference these days, and unfortunately everyone has decided to copy Chrome (perhaps with a dash of the Opera menu). One thing I like about FF is that I can set it back to (pretty much) how it looked in <=FF3. I'm used to things a certain way, I tried the 'improved' version but I prefer it the way it was. <shrugs>

NoScript is also a huge reason why I stay with FF. Opera has similar-ish features but I've never been able to make them work as well as NoScript works for me.

Steltek is probably right.

You can start FF's profile manager by running Firefox from the command line and putting " -p" on the end. Create another profile, try it in that, if it works, you know that it's a profile issue. Stuff like sign-in info and bookmarks/history can be pulled across to the new profile.

It's gone. I installed chrome, tried it, and said goodbye FF.

I thought this was going be about a Windows port of Browser. It needs a new home now that Chrome for Android is kicking it out.

Been on Firefox for a long time.. starting to like IE9.

FF is going version crazy.
Chrome needs to figure out something new on favs/bookmarks

As far as in the enterprise IE is still the only one with GPO's that do anything. Firefox at least got the directory locations correct (Roaming for profile & local for cache in Appdata) but wow Chrome has really missed the mark on that, and no ability in the GUI to set the cache limit or clean on every exit.. frig, so tired of users asking me for these unmanageable browsers

I like Firefox. It can be any browser you want it to be. If I didn't use that, it would be Opera.

Out of the major browsers (IE, FF, Chrome) on Windows, only FF displays correct colors (respecting image and monitor profiles). So FF is my choice for now.

I will have to check this one out because I had not heard of the MeIE2 before.
Ya the newer versions were renamed MAXTHON (You might have heard of that) and went downhill QUICKLY!!!!!!!! (I think the maxthon versions are complete crap compared to what i have!!!! (Almost everything good that was in MyIE2 is gone))

I have the LAST VERSION of MyIE2 before it was renamed... (v9.27.68)

Firefox - Only because of the youtube\flash\ video ripper plugins I use. I haven't looked into the availability of similar functionality across other browsers.
