Some of my wishes are:

Use my own home pg as the page I see when I call up the browser.
Set the browser to send downloads to my warehouse folder.
Set up ‘plug ins’ & ‘extensions’ similar to Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin & Save Page WE

Hi Balloonshark,

Thanks for you quick response. Mozilla is in an impenetrable vault, I have been all all over the net to no avail. I've tried key-pass & lock wise & they were too tedious to set up & couldn't find any info on their process, setup or how they work.

Do you know of a "browser" website that may be able to find a replacement browser for FF. I put together W10 on a new Asus gaming laptop to better assist in managing approx 8 TB of data & the fact that I'm living in NJ. That''s why I indicated my wishes above.

Below is a pix of how I reset W10 to increase my efficiency. Took a lot of work but I can get more work done with the new
setup & I'm only 81 & handicapped

All major browsers are Chromium based now (Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge) so they are all pretty similar.

Here is more information on Lockwise. Searching youtube for firefox lockwise may also help.

Password Manager - Remember, delete and edit logins and passwords in Firefox

I have always assumed lastpass is an easy password manager to use since it is so popular. They also have browser extensions. https://www.lastpass.com/

A list of some of the popular browsers: https://fossbytes.com/best-web-browsers-for-pc/

Thanks for the links especially fossbytes. Looked over browsers, will go back each web site to check further.

Also checking out last pass, several yrs ago I tried it & it had me going in circles, too many requirements. All I want to store is the website & my password. I have lots of logins in a spreadsheet rtg.

This AnandTech site looks like in contains a lot of current info I could learn from.
