I hope this is the correct forum.

My boss's laptop runs WIN ME, IE 5.5, when he clicks on some links on certain pages, they open up to a blank white page. Any thoughts or suggestions??? Video card, web browser???

This isn't really the right forum. Its definitely not a videocard issue.

Try the software forum.

But...here are a few suggestions:

a) try right-clicking on the link and choosing 'open link in new window'

b) try accessing those websites on another computer in IE.

c) download Netscape (I recommend version 4.77) onto his laptop and try accessing those pages in Netscape. Some pages work better in some browsers.

when you say 'some links on certain pages' your basically saying alot of websites work but some don't. Thats the reality of the internet..sites go down for repairs, to be updated..and you've probably heard alot of dot-coms are now out-of-business.

So before you do anything else test those pages on another computer and ideally with another browswer (eg Netscape) as well. If those sites work on another computer in Internet Explorer then you've got an tech-issue on that laptop. If those sites don't work on another computer in Internet Explorer or Netscape then those sites are broken. You can't fix those broken sites for your boss.
