Browser (IE) warning regarding slow Internet connection/speed

wpshooter

The other day here at work, my browser (IE) gave a warning that it could not utilize the new IE browser feature which allows the automatic search/preview of Google searches (or whatever the name for that new feature is) because the Internet connection speed was too slow. It fell back to the old method of displaying Google search findings.

We have a T-1 connection to the Internet.

Is this warning/prompt that was issued a part of IE or is it part of the M/S windows operating system or is some other source monitoring the Internet speed and issued this warning ???

Later that same day and the next day the search/preview of Google searches resumed it's normal previewing feature.

Let me know if you might need anymore info.

Thanks.

I am using Ubuntu/Marerick & FF at home and it has NOT happened to me there.

Just at work the other day on my M/S IE workstation.

P.S. - may I ask who your sevvice provider is ?

Thanks for your reply.
