Browser extension that can "edit" PDFs?

Occasionally I need to fill out a PDF that's not configured to be filled out on a computer. Currently I use Foxit to write information into such forms. However, I've slowly been reducing the software footprint on my computer, both to decrease the attack surface and generally streamlined. I stick to just Chrome and Edge as my browsers, so I'm curious if there's an extension that works offline which would allow me to write information into PDFs. I don't need a full featured editor, just something that allows me to put my name, address, and so forth into PDFs that call for them. I do have MS Office, but it typically will do something weird to the PDFs I open that I'd rather not spend the time dealing with, like screwing up layouts or making a form no longer fit on one page.
