To whomever asked why not to use Opera, or said they used it, or something like that:

I don't like Opera nor even think it's a good idea on anyone's system period. It's a resource hog, likes to call DLLs and set them to AboveNormal priority without the main thread changing so the process appears legit, has lots of ads in it unless you pay more cash than you've already shelled out to have a PC in the first place, and it's not *that* fast.

Free browsers like Phoenix or Lynx are so much better.

And yes, I use Lynx. It kicks all ass.

all that means is you're doing something you're not supposed to, to make your browser faster. it doesn't really mean sites won't work afterwards.

this patch gave me nothing but problems.


it caused my norton antivirus to be constantly taking up 20% of the CPU resources.

it caused a memory leak, to such an extent that i had no memory left to shut down the computer, and had to pull the plug. the 6 second button wasnt even working...


i just said to hell with it. and deleted the keys. i'm doing much better now, all problems are gone. i'm fine with my current speed, the difference isnt that much.

I'm only on 256kb anyways, so there's really no point in doin this... also, when I ran a server, people would have this installed.. and it sucks the bandwidth from a server without much bandwidth...

so therefore, I think it really isn't fair... it's great for sites with high bandwidth, but it literally kills smaller servers..
