What's up with Brotherhood of the Wolf? Three people already told me that it's one of the best movies ever made, and they're all dying to see it again. And yet, it's only playing in one theater in all of Toronto! The theater is owned by FamousPlayers. So i wanted to get the showtimes for tomorrow and went there. They have a page for each movie their theaters are showing, with showtimes for each theater. For all movies except this one. So i went to Toronto.com and had it list every single movie that is playing in the city. Brotherhood Of The Wolf wasn't even on the list. What's happening? This sounds like a stunning movie, yet it seems to have been forgoteen by everyone. I'm going to see it tomorrow anyway.

it wasn't as great as the media and reviews hype it up to be...seemed to drag a bit....that's just my opinion tho, i'm sure there are some that thought it kicked ass...

ya i'm disappointed with the lack of showtimes here, too. i'll have to drive over to Olathe, KS this weekend just to see it, i think. I've certainly not forgotten it!

Entertaining but too convoluted. It's a mismash of a kungfu flix plus a B horror movie and a period French drama.

Monica Bellucci is one SEXY BISHHH!....hmmm yeah i think they should of cut the film by at least 20 mins for the US audience... our attention span isnt that great and for gods sakes its subtitled also...heaven forbid we need to read during a movie.... I liked it alot...but i felt it dragged at the end. I dont think the mainstream audience is ready for such a movie.

It was okay, but I was extremely disturbed by how it went out of its way to demean women.

And pumpkins.

i wish they spent more money on the special effects, the beast look like a pet dinosaur...and no im not ruining it for anyone because they clearly show it in some commercials and trailers.

the love story was sappy, the action cheesy. hollywood/hong kong mayhem via the french. the french
made this schlock using the same formula popular in america and asia to rekindle the economic health of
their own film industry.

Damn, am I the only one here that liked it? It did kinda drag, but I liked the cinematography and the action. The monster was kinda cheezy (looked glaringly CGI in some scenes) but I was pretty impressed. It reminded me alot of a cross between Gladiator/The 13th Warrior/Jet Li flick.
