Sam's club members: the PT-1180SC is the next model up, plus an extra tape, plus batteries, for $30.

If you're not a Sam's club member, this is a good deal. The tape alone is normally priced around $10-15, and so to get a tape and the label maker for $15 is great. The SC deal is a bit better, but at a higher cost and you must be a member.

The Brother P-Touch series / TZ tape pretty much dominates the label-making business. I have used Casio label makers also and do have to say that the Brother is better, more expensive, but better.
