Brother HL-2040 @ PriceGrabber
Does not seem to review quite as well as the lately pop Samsung ML-2010 and it costs a bit more but it is USB 2.0 (vs 1.1), has higher max resolution spec (2400 vs 1200), holds more paper and all internally, and has a seperate drum from toner (likewise refillable). Most common user complaint seems to be minor paper curling.
Oh snap, the Sammy buy.com deal is dead.. was $100 before $50 MIR yesterday but is now $130. Still, it could return as prices fluxuate and the rebate is valid 'till 1/31. In any case, I'm sure equivalent or better deals will return shortly.
