Mobo: Biostar TForce P965PT
CPU: Intel Core2Duo something
RAM: OCZ Platinum 2x1GB (orange channels on mobo)
GPU: nVidea 7900GS
PSU: FSP (it is blue and the ATX cable is 20 + 4 design) I don't know the wattage.

Computer was working up through today (at least this morning). Computer is left on continuously with restarts twice per month.

He got home and it was blank, but the fans were spinning.

He tried to turn it on and fans start running, harddrive spins up, no display, no BIOS Beep, no keyboard lights on, Blue LED on mobo (integrated on power switch) lights up, harddrive activity lights on case not working. The BIOS Beep had always worked before during restart and startup.

Taking out the mobo from the case and unplugging DVD and HDD and GPU. Problem not fixed. Does not post, no BEEP, blue LED on mobo lights up (as normal). LED 1 and 2 (Red and Green??) do not light up (they usually do).

Reset BIOS, Problem not fixed.

Took out BIOS battery for 30 seconds, replaced battery -> Problem not fixed.

Reseated RAM -> problem not fixed.

Reseated RAM into Green slots -> problem not fixed.

My brother does not have a spare PSU nor a spare MOBO. Everyone around him has apple computers so are of no help. Any ideas?

Biostar's troubleshooting in the manual did not help.

Thanks in advanced.

How certain are you that it is the PSU? I feel it could be the PSU as well, but Fortron Source is supposed to be a pretty reliable PSU maker...

Well really it could be either the PSU or the video card. I check the video card first.

Thanks, i'll pass the word. There is no way he can test the video card as nobody around him has a PC.
