We have a couple Brother 2820 fax machines in the building here. Lately one has been having serious print quality issues, leaving wide black streaks on the page. So I take the DR-350 drum out and notice that the imaging roller is pretty dirty. I clean it off with a paper towel and stick it back in. The black streaks go away and the quality is good for another maybe 60 copies. After that the black streaks return and the drum is dirty again. What could be causing this? The drum itself is pretty new, maybe 1-2 weeks old, and the toner is brand new. Is it a poor quality drum or could something else in the fax machine be causing this?
