Brooklyn Housing Advice?

I'll be finding myself in Brooklyn for a few years (lucky me) and will be needing housing. Preferably in Brooklyn Heights. Anyone have resources to check? Thanks. Please email.

If you are looking to buy a house, try: http://www.realtor.com. For renting, you could check out http://www.apartments.com. I have not lived in the city in a long time, so I really don't know much else.

Get yourself a house in Westchester, Rockland, or NE New Jersey, and take the commuter train to the city.

 

Brooklyn Heights is really nice. Great view, lots of money to live their though.

CyberSax has some good advice with Westchester the surrounding area. If you work in NYC though the commute can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending how far out you go.

i live in bensonhurst, well, if i walk for a few seconds, i'm in borough park. I live very close to the N line

i have DSL, so it can't be all bad

i don't know brooklyn heights...

I lived in Brooklyn Heights for a year. Yes it is a nice place, but not for me. Too dead at night. Watch out for the St. George housing dorm on the corner of Henry and Clark. That place is a living infestation.

Anyways now I live in Mid-town Manhattan which give me the right to make fun of anyone that doesn't live &quot;in the city&quot;

BTW: what law school? New York Law School, Brooklyn Law School, NYU, Fordham, Columbia, Cardozo???? I got to law school too
