Some sort splint? Something to prohibit the toe from moving so the bone can heal. Maybe some crutches? Maybe not even that? Some vicodin if she complains of pain alot?

I broke my pinky toe once. Let me tell you that even though one would think it would be a "meh, oh well" type of thing, it was completely painful and disabling (any movement of my body would cause the toe to hurt like a mofo bitch. It was broken 90 degrees pointing outwards and the doctor just quickly bent it back and wrapped tape on it without warning me. I yelled so loudly it scared the nurse nearby lol.

If she needed a cast she'd probably be in so much pain you wouldn't wait until morning. May be a small fracture, who knows until the xray is taken. Usually they tape the toe and wrap it. If it's a bad fracture then she will probably get a cast. If not she will probably be told how to protect it and wear strong toed shoes for a while.
