Broken Raptor in Raid 0

Hello,

My computer shipped with 3 Raptor X drives in Raid 0 array. One of them has packed up and the company that sold me the computer has now gone bust.

I have RMA'd the broken drive back to WD but that was over 4 weeks ago and still no new drive. The delay comes from them not having any Raptor X drives in stock and now they are saying I may have to settle for another replacement drive. (possibly a VelocRaptor)

Can I make this work in a Raid 0 array or do I have to have another Raptor X?

totally try and get them to ship you a velociraptor. they are so much faster you might benefit running it solo depending on what the performance of your raid0 was prior, or selling your raptor X and buying another. the 150gb VR is the same price as the old 150gb raptors most places now, but significantly higher performance
