broken palm pilot!!

I managed to crack the screen of my Palm III today, and i was wondering if there was aneasy way to fix it with replacement. Right now, the lower left hand side is not properly reading, and when i touch the screen, it puts it asbout 1/4 inch lower. This stops happening when i move up or right.

The crack is small, less than an inch on the lower right side.

I've seen a few fixes in the UseNet NewsGroups comp.sys.palmtops and comp.sys.palmtops.pilot.

u can always deal with Palm directly and see how much it would cost to have it fixed or if it's still under warranty...being that it's a Palm III i'm assuming ur warranty is over tho... ..
